Flatmates Amsterdam is an online service for different sorts of accommodations. We mediate bookings between the owners of properties and the users of our service, helping them to find not only lodgings that would suit their needs, but also assisting with information about the city and surroundings, as well as especial requirements.

The users:
Our clients are mainly travelers who don’t want to stay in a hotel anymore (especially the ones staying longer) and companies (big or small ones) searching for a private studio or apartment for their temporary staff who need to stay in Amsterdam during their projects and conferences.
The gay public, as well as the honeymooners, come to our city for a romantic and fun vacation. Families with or without children come from all over the world for a special occasion - a marriage or other celebration - and need a comfortable and large house. Grandmas and grandpas want a place where they can sit on the floor to play with the grand kids and cook at home. Businessmen, tired of the formalities, impersonal services and coldness of the hotels, prefer to have a private home for their stay. Expatriates, living and working in the Netherlands, are always in need for an extra studio or an apartment for their visiting parents, because their house is not big enough.
Those stay typically from one week to a couple of months in the city and are looking for privacy, more space, cooking facilities and a temporarily feeling of being a real ‘Amsterdammer’.
Our target market is the public who is slightly more mature and discerning in their tastes. We thrive on culture, good energy and high standards. In maintaining this quality we positively discourage enquiries from people who may enjoy any sort of extremism, users of hard drugs and those whose habits may disturb other guests, their hosts or neighbors.
The properties:
Flatmates doesn't own the properties listed here. The owners are also the residents of the accommodations - which are offered for rent during their vacation/holidays period or they have an extra studio/guest room attached to their house, in case of the B&B’s. That's why the properties are cozy and furnished to be a home, where you will find everything for a comfortable stay.
We offer in this site accurate descriptions and good quality images and we trust that the proprietors maintain their properties as you see in our web pages. We personally contact each owner to verify the professional level of service and advise them when necessary.
