The Artemis Apartment is a unique accommodation, located in the city center of Amsterdam, just a few minutes walk from Leidseplein, Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum, Vondelpark and many most Amsterdam’s major cultural and social events, entertainment and night life establishments.

The Accommodation |
The building is of exceptional character: built in 1735 as a Weavers House is therefore under the protection of the historical and monumental buildings guarded by the municipality of Amsterdam.
It is situated in a very quiet residential small street guaranteeing you a hide-away stay with privacy, beauty and comfort in a ‘big’ city.
As typical of Amsterdam, the apartment is situated on the “souterrain” floor (a couple of steps down the street level), which gives you access and view to the private garden at the rear, designed by the famous architects family Copijn of Amsterdam.

The apartment is spacious for Amsterdam's standards (approx. 60 m2) and it offers accommodation up to 5 persons with full comfort. In addition to central heating, the apartment has its own floor heating system, an extra comfort in the winter!
It offers one double bedroom - with a queen size bed (1.60 meter wide), living room with double bed sofa and, in case you are coming in a group of 5, an extra single bed is available to be placed in the living rom too.
Furhter, it offers dinning room with open fully equipped kitchen, the garden, bathroom and toilet (accessed by the corridor) and laundry area with separate washing and drying machines. In the bedroom there is also an additional wash basin and a built-in wardrobe.

The kitchen contains all necessary utensils for cooking, including a refrigerator, a microwave, coffee maker and a water cooker. There are plenty food markets around to buy fresh fruits and vegetables if you want to cook at home.

- If you are coming with a larger group of people, we offer also The Artemis Guest House , in the same building, just two floors above this apartment.
- The apartment provides you with a washing & drying machines, TV/DVD/CD/ADSL Internet;
- It is of easy access. There are though a couple of steps on the entrance and to access the garden. Therefore it is suitable for people with partial walking disabilities;

The apartment is a non-smoking accommodation, though you can smoke on the garden;
- Children of all ages are welcome;
- Sorry, no pets are allowed;
- Bed linen and towels are provided;

The accommodation is located just a few minutes walk from most of Amsterdam’s major cultural and social events, entertainment and night life establishments. All the foremost museums (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, etc), the Leidse Square, the Rembrandt Square, the Flower Market, the Dam Square, the world famous Concert Gebouw , the stylish shopping streets (P. C. Hooftstraat and Van Baerle Straat) and the real Amsterdam’s Albert Cuyp bazaar (open every day except Sunday) are all at easy reach from the house. There are unlimited number of cafés and coffee-shops, bars and restaurants nearby. If you need to go further than the center, stops for public transport are at immediate neighbourhood.

- Check-out time is max 12 am;
Notes:
- If you arrive much earlier than 2 pm there are two possibilities:
- If the night before your arrival is still available, we can block it on the calendar for you at the moment of your booking; we charge in this case an early arrival fee of 50% of a normal one night rate. You have in this case guarantee of an early check-in (from 8 am);
- If you don’t want to pay the early arrival fee, you can take the risk: there is still the possibility of an early check-in if the accommodation was not booked the night before. In this case you will need to contact your host two days before your arrival (contact numbers will be sent on your booking confirmation) to check if it’s available.

- For monthly rates we offer bigger reductions, depending on the time of stay;

- For early inquiries (longer than 45 days before check-in) and special periods (Easter, Queen’s Day, Gay Pride, IBC conference, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, etc) we require minimum of 4 nights (unless it fits exactly 3 nights in the calendar);
- Those special periods may require surcharges; please send us your inquiry, so we can make a quote for you.
