As being home of a Dutch couple, who rents it out only during their vacation, this houseboat offers all the comfort you would need for your stay and it really looks like a normal house: living room with open kitchen, dining room, one double bedrooms, bathroom and balcony.
Everything in this accommodation is very well looked after, clean and cozy. In the winter, the central heating will keep you warm, because you can set the temperature you want.
The area has innumerous great restaurants and easy-trendy little bars. But eating at home is a great option, as the kitchen is practical and fully equipped. Just buy your biological food at the Saturday and Monday market next to you or at one of the shops just around the corner.
The bathroom is actually big for a houseboat and it offers shower and bath. There is also a balcony along the boat, which ends up on a very charming niche, with a sofa and a lot of plants - a romantic place for a glass of wine with the most famous view of Amsterdam: the Westertoren (the tower of the Westerkerk, Western Church).

The Prinsengracht is one of the most important canals in the center of Amsterdam and usually is busy with a lot of boats, especially when there is a boat parade, like during Queen’s Day or the Gay Pride. It can be very interesting though to feel part of the parade. It is however very quiet after 1am and, because people are very peaceful in the morning, you won't hear anything before 9am.
This houseboat is located in the Jordaan, which was once a very poor area of Amsterdam, taken by the hippies on the 60's, and now has become a truly exciting and diverse area to explore. Its cafés and the Dutch people hanging around have a different character, comparing with other areas of the city. There are hundreds of small shops, funny Amsterdam houses, churches and museums, all within a short walk of your accommodation. There is also the convenience of being close to Central Station, Anne Frank House, Dam Square, Leidseplein, the Flower Markt, The Nine Little Streets and the Museum Square.

- If you arrive much earlier than 2 pm there are two possibilities:
- If the night before your arrival is still available, we can block it on the calendar for you at the moment of your booking; we charge in this case an early arrival fee of 50% of a normal one night rate. You have in this case guarantee of an early check-in (from 8 am);
- If you don’t want to pay the early arrival fee, you can take the risk: there is still the possibility of an early check-in if the accommodation was not booked the night before. In this case you will need to contact your host two days before your arrival (contact numbers will be sent on your booking confirmation) to check if it’s available.
