Amsterdam Studio Apartment - Raamgracht #2

This canal house is much photographed with the South church in the background. It is situated in the Nieuwmarkt area, which is the heart of the old center, with most houses dating back to the 1600's. You will find everything Amsterdam has to offer within a 1 mile radius.

The Accommodation

This apartment was opened after complete renovation in the autumn of 2004. Century old features of the house are combined with all modern comfort, including TV/DVD/Stereo/Phone and an ADSL internet connection. The apartment is equipped for three: a double in a separate bedroom plus a convertible sofa in the living. Find a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave/ dishwasher.

Notes:

- Smoking is allowed, but please not in the bedroom;

- It offers 24h ADSL fast internet connection in case you bring your laptop with you;

- Bed linen and towels are provided;

- This accommodation is gay friendly;

Location

The location is the best: this accommodation is set in the middle of downtown, at the foot of the Zuiderkerk (Southern Church), walking distance to everywhere in the city center.
Though located on a very quiet canal, you have around you not only the Nieuwmarkt, but the Chinese Neighborhood, the Red Light District, the Dam and the Waterloo Squares. Central Station is just a few minutes walking as well. The metro has a stop next to the house: the ride to Central Station is only 90 seconds, which also makes it very easy to connect to Amsterdam Airport.
The choice you have of restaurants, cafés, coffee shops and all kind of shopping is countless. Cinemas, the Flower Market and the Flea Market are also very close by. To the Museum Square you just need to take one of our trams and in few stops you're there.
If you're coming by car the best is to leave it in a close by parking garage and go on foot during your stay or have fun hiring a bicycle. Amsterdam is totally different from a bicycle or from the water.

Check-in and check-out info

- Check-in time is from 2 pm to 10 pm;
- Check-out time is from 8 am to 11 am;

Notes:

- If you arrive much earlier than 2 pm there are two possibilities:

If the night before your arrival is still available, we can block it on the calendar for you at the moment of your booking; we charge in this case an early arrival fee of 50% of a normal one night rate. You have in this case guarantee of an early check-in (from 8 am);
If you don’t want to pay the early arrival fee, you can take the risk: there is still the possibility of an early check-in if the accommodation was not booked the night before. In this case you will need to contact your host two days before your arrival (contact numbers will be sent on your booking confirmation) to check if it’s available.

For monthly rates we offer bigger reductions, depending on the time of stay;

All rates are inclusive VAT and Tourist Tax;

For early inquiries (longer than 45 days before check-in) and special periods (Easter, Queen’s Day, Gay Pride, IBC conference, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, etc) we require minimum of 4 nights (unless it fits exactly 3 nights in the calendar);

Those special periods may require surcharges; please send us your inquiry, so we can make a quote for you.
